S. Kijchai Enterprise boosts with SundsDryer and SundsZifter for new MDF project



First references in Thailand: In the end of June 2024, Sunds Fibertech and S. Kijchai Enterprise signed the contracts for the delivery of a “Scorpion” MDF Dryer and the latest generation SundsZifter.

The project started in February 2024 when S. Kijchai’s Board of Directors gave the green light to build the company’s third MDF line. With this ambitious project, the stock listed company aims to double its MDF capacity from 500,000m3 to 1,000,000m3 per year.

Sunds Fibertech will play an important role in the new project by delivering a “Scorpion” MDF Dryer system, along with the latest generation SundsZifter, to efficiently process the challenging raw material, rubberwood.
The MDF Dryer will ensure energy efficient drying of up to 56 tons of fiber per hour, while the SundsZifter will clean the fiberflow from latex particles and other impurities prior to entering the forming and press lines.
